Come and see us at Evertiq Expo in Göteborg Thursday September 19. You find us at table 86 where we show and talk about our favorite topic – special cables & connectors for challenging markets & applications. Welcome !
Just a few seconds are required for the connection. This new fast-locking system developed by Axon’ consists of latch clips and special guide pins making it easy to connect and disconnect. Choose Axon Nano D connectors to get the combination of fast integration and extreme miniaturization in the same durable 0.635 mm (.025”) contact spacing connector still meeting the demanding requirements of the MIL-DTL-32139 standard.
Radars, drones, fighter jets, missiles and satellites, the list of applications for which Axon’ Cable can provide cables & connector solutions is extensive – but all have a common goal: the need for miniature and reliable components. High data rate, high temperature, weight and space saving, electromagnetic protection, resistance to severe environments, come and discover our solutions in stand B136, Hall 6.
AxoMach® high-speed coaxial links have just been qualified by the European Space Agency to ESCC 3409/001 standard. They are the only ones approved on the market today. AxoMach® links are designed to transmit data at speed up to 40 Gb/s for space applications like satellite high definition imaging sensors.
Axon’ is participating in the French environmental impact study program CYVISO 14001. The result is clear: the choice of raw materials is significant for the environmental impact of our products. To manage and limit it customers must be made aware of the future of their products and for example be offered reusable, long lifetime solutions or possibility of reducing the thickness of cable insulation, while reassuring the quality. This “Green connect” approach therefore involves raising the awareness of the engineers already early in design and R&D stages.
Perseverance’s new Supercam has links between the electronic system and telescope designed by Axon’. This cable assembly, which transmits information to the rover, is terminated at each end by a specific pair of miniature Micro-D connectors. Additionally, Axon has also carried out the cabling of the microphone installed about the Perseverance’s SuperCam. All the cabling of the SuperCam and the microphone has been made in clean room under controlled atmosphere in the Axon’ site located in Montmirail in France. Designed in collaboration with NASA and IRAP Toulouse, with the help of CNRS and CNES, SuperCam is a concentrate of technologies that will remotely analyse Martian rocks.
As provider of cable and interconnect solutions with excellent durability in extreme environments, Axon has products suitable for different energy technologies and also participate in events such as the recent 14th International Symposium on Fusion Nuclear Technology ISFNT in Budapest, Hungary.
The emerging sector “New Space” requires not only reliable space certified components but also industrial solutions adapted to rapid production of satellites in volume. Aware of this requirement, Axon’ has developed new fast & easy to use interconnect products such as Micro-D with D-click fast latching system or Micro-D Versatys® with removable power contacts.
